New Recipies?Follow

Oaky, all the talk about Oreo's and Twinkies got me to thinking:

What recipe would you add to WoW's Cooking skill? I got cooking to 235 on my Rogue, and those foods came in handy lessening my downtime for getting health back. Now they give a limited stat boost that helps spark new interest in the tradeskill.

SO...What would you make as a recipe? (and please no recipies that require body parts from Horde/Alliance memebers, this is NOT EQ, it is WoW).

I like what I’ve seen thus far of the WoW cooking system. What I would like to see more of is “fun” food. EQ did a very good job of making fun recipes. To this day I still think back fondly to Batwing Crunchies, which were made from bat wings and icing. Okay, I can live without food made from player races. It was funny, but it’s not necessary. Foods like Eatable Goo, however, add flavor to the game, so to speak. Blizzard has proven time and again that they possess a good sense of humor. That’s what I’d like to see more of added to the cooking skill.

Only problems I have with cooking is that some races have it a lot easier than others, and it really takes farming mobs that I get no exp from anymore to get the meat.

I do love to cook though.

Vampyre, fishing! No one has any advantage in it and it easily get's your cooking skill up while providing a decent way to heal.

More deserts! Like brownies, with maybe a touch of alchemy... *cough*

Roasted Shoe Leather, for the player on a budget.

I like the bat Kabob thingies I saw in beta. I would like more fun/humorous things too.

Maybe Smores. Nothing like sitting around a campfire making smores. :) Might be hard to find the ingredients here though.

Maybe some form of corn dog. Donkey Dumplings. Road Apple Pie. Chicken Nuggets. Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Just a few ideas.

I got my cooking skill up to 235 from cooking just stuff I caught while fishing.

I also think Alchemy would be of great benefit to cooking, make some VERY unique foods/drinks.

Ah, yeah takes a bit of traveling about but you can find recipes on most of the fishing vendors, and look also for Tradeskill vendors. There are a few out there.

nothing specific - but maybe some STEW - made from different ingredients from herbalist and several different sources for some special buffs other ( or on top of )HP regeneration. I am thinking of things you might have to trade/auction for.

i think when WoW goes live the downtime between fights will be lengthend slightly, as it was alittle bit too fast, only a little though.
so food will be more usefull

Id Like to see Brewing recipies added either the skill or Alchamy or cooking any way would work.....a REAL dwarf makes his own ale...then shares with friends and drinks there's to :)

about shoe leather....try Bear hide Jerky (1 leather scraps. salt. maybe something else for flavor)

Ice cream...they have ice cold milk....it's snowing in Dun Morogh...leave it out a bit...

not sure didn't get to high in cooking only like 70ish so some of this maybe out there...

Fruit salad (for the night elf who can't make up her mind)

sandwiches?

Troll meat pies (aka Jamaican meat pies...if you never had one try it they are wonderful)

now ill work on this till relase....god guys you ahd to ask stuff like this...

<character's name>'s catch of the day! It would basically be the same recipe, but just put your character's name in the title. Wee!

Troll Truffles
Troll Jam
Gnomes in a blanket
donuts - bear claws etc.
Second Time Around Stew - eeeeewwww
Pickled Eggs

I'm sure if I was on the dev team, there'd be way too many dumb little recipes for gross stuff. :)
