Significant Other Communications Problems While Playing ...Follow

While I'm busy on-line, and this is the typical conversation as I hear it:

[Girlfriend] : Jord, Do you Blah Blah Blah?
[Jord] : Yu huh.
[G/F] : So you blah blah blah then?
[Jord] : Yep.
[G/F] : Then I should blah blah blah??
[Jord] : Mm Hmm.
[G/F] : But then what if I blah blah blah?
[Jord] : Iunno.
[G/F] : Jord are you even listening to me?
[Jord] : Yep.
[G/F] : What did I say then?
[Jord] : Blah blah blah?
[G/F] : You're such an [explative][explative] with your [explative] game. Don't you think blah blah blah?
[Jord] : Yu huh.

for me it's more like:

[G/F]: Come to bed.
[Jord]: but I'm in a great party ...
[G/F]: I'm naked.
[Jord]: but ... I'm ... in ... a
[G/F]: *yells* get over here!
[Jord]: *types* "/p afk 5 mins emergency brb sorry"

Spouse: just come to bed...
Me: why?
Spouse: I don't want to be cold...
Me: why?
Spouse: you can warm me up...

Wow you mean you people actually get words, I just get clothes thrown at me. Hard to see the screen with a bra hanging off the screen.

..Thats how it worked while I was leveling my warrior to 30, then she realized I wasnt stopping anytime soon..

When we stopped FFXI, I was L64 Paladin and she was L59 White Mage.
I play on the PC in the bedroom, and she plays in the living room. Always easy finding a party with a pld and whm by default :)
