tryed war to level 27, i liked it :D very good in pvp.

tryed hunter to 28 :D and boy it;s fun :D not to good in pvp... very good when they are trying to run. :D catch most of the class but the sharman... can't catch them when they run... (I hate slow)

tryed rogue to 25, much funner then war! and wow lot more damge then hunter and war. rogue pure pvp fun. and with the lock pick it's nice to know you can open locked box... no good item ganed yet...

trying sharmon now, since most of the time (pvp) i found sharman to overpowering... and how! after playing them I see that it's great class... can runaway easyly... and for a caster class my melee damage is very good :D sure I get hit for more damge but with the spells that sharmon have I can take less. healing wad i havn't got yet... but ppl are telling me that it's very good...

anyway... now it's between hunter or shaman.... ahhh then there is the trade skills!!!!!!

so if was to make shaman i would get leather works since I can heal my self and I never seem to have problem with mp...

but what abut hunters ?

for the hunter I was going to learn ahcamist or leather works. but not sure what one...

I got alchmist to 130, and it was nice to make hp healing item, and swift potion, wow 50% run speed + for 15s :D no one can escape from me (and great for running away)

Then there is leather works... when I was leveing the sharman. I never realized till now how good learther works is for leather waering class! even at low skill you can make +8 item for your hand, body and leg. (i'm missing one... )

and the stuff i cna make for with the low skill is much better then any quest item.

ahhhhh so what to do!!!!!!!

sould I get alchmist or leather?????? :( ah and retail is only weak away

WHOA!!!

Calm down young grasshoper calmdown.

As for Shamans, they not good in solo pvp but they can be very dangerous in raids and group pvp.

anyhow it all comes up to preference. I had the same prob you had. warrior or shammie. so i tried em both and i liked shammie better since i do like to help around and support my group weith heals and aid in a battle.
Hunters are really fun also, the ability to raise your own pet is fun and its exciting to shoot a fleeing person in the back!!(especially night elves)

as for crafts i didnt bother to touch it, infact i only skimmed off the newbie quest of the game since i want to savor the game once it goes gold.

Leatherworking is great as a hunter. I find that most of my targets are Beasts, and most Beasts are skinnable. Also, the ability to make all of your armor for a large part of your career is nothing to snear at. When you get up to level 30 or 40 and the leatherworking items is not keeping up with instance drops, you can do a few farming runs to save up some gold, then kill of Leatherworking to pick up whatever skill you want. It is going to take extra time to level a new skill and will likely mean going back to the lowbie areas, but the fact that you can unlearn a profession is not to be taken lightly, especially with the number of people that take 2 gather skills and auction it all away.

I prefer engineering for my hunter more so than leatherworking, although I am biased with a rogue that does leatherworking.

Engineering definitely has more PvP usage. I'm not ceratin what to do with my dorf early on, do I want the leatherworking for the money saved and extra good armor for easy leveling, or do I want and early start on engineering so I don't have to 'waste' hours picking it up late game?

I'll probably go engineering, I've tried both and as great as leatherworking is I'll just get one of my friends to do it for a mecha-squirrel.

Haven't played yet myself, but while I am gonna probably go Leather/Skinnig I must say that the applications of Engineering are mighty tempting especially for the Rogue I plan on playing.

Rogue I hear is an unstoppable caster killer with Engineering. Stun grenades coupled with all the rogue abilities to stun, interupt casts, or silence is almost too good to be true. Besides, you get to run around with goggles and leather armor and pretend you are a WWII aviator.
