Thanksgiving Holiday = WoWmaniaFollow

#1 Nov 17 2004 at 7:03 AM Rating: Decent
Good morning everyone! I know everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of WoW next week, so I must ask what are your plans for the Thanksgiving holiday/Wow release? Almost everyone who goes to school will be out of school for an entire week starting Friday and those of us with full time jobs will most likely be off work most of next week. I am in the full-time job category (11pm-7am) gotta love graveyard shift. But I plan to pick up my copy of WoW:CE the second the store opens and will spend all next week.

I'm a state employee so that means all Federal holidays off. I have 5 straight days of no work to devote to WoW. So post your plans on what you will be doing next week with all of the free holiday time at your disposal and the release of the much anticipated WoW.

Thank you for reading now I'm getting off work, getting breakfast, and going to play WoW.

War....Hell yeah!

Me, camped over the keyboard, in a bathrobe, big cup of coffe in the AM, big cup of some sickly sweet caffeinated suger loaded soda in the afternoon...scotch and a stogie in the evening and into the wee hours, until the switch back to coffee.

New MMORPGs at our house are an event. I will have one of my 4 kids on the other PC, second account. They will have to swtich off and play in shifts...I, on the other hand, paid for the **** so I am staying put. If my wife played, she would probably over-rule that but she does not so...and she knows to just leave me alone during a release week. lol (actually she has resigned herself to it...but she will only give me a week).

At some point, one of the kids, probably my oldest daughter will notice I am sitting in a caffeine and levelling induced stupor and a puddle of drool has collected terribly close to the keyboard...if the younger two notice this, they will sit accross the room and pelt me with raisins or M&Ms for a while...so when my daughter or wife finds me, they will pick the raisons and M&Ms off of my face and out of my hair...mercifully hit the logout button and lead me to the bed, where I will dream of quests not completed and named mobs not killed.

Ah, it is gonna be a good thanksgiving holiday! ooo Rah!

Ooooooo This was post number 420...now isn't that special.

I see everyone has some great plans also for the big day coming up. I need to stock up on coffee, cokes, and snacks because by the time next week is over I'll have been plastered to my computer chair for who knows how long.

Argh....we crazy Canadians had Thanksgiving last month. So no day off for us to play WoW. Of course, we'll have that extra couple of hours when all the Americans venture away from the computer to feast. But sadly, that's all we get this month.
