Any facts yet on Closed-Beta character roll-over?Follow

I'm not really pro- or anti-rollover, but retail is a week away, and I would really like to know.

Last I heard, Blizzard had not yet commented, but I haven't looked through the official forums lately (*shudder* they're grose). I was wondering if there is any news about this yet.

It would be nice to let us know by now - because to be honest it will have an affect on whether I bother to level any more or just play something else in the mean time (I.e. GTA:SA, more FFXI, etc.) or wait.

Any actual info would be great.

PLEASE don't post here about pro- vs. anti-rollover (which means nothing on whether or not we get to keep our characters). There have been plenty of flame wars about this already- I just want to know what is going on, now what you think about the topic ;)

I know for 100% certainty that is the case for the closed-beta players.

Blizzard's FAQ (which could be out of date) still says that they have not yet announced whether OPEN BETA players can roll over their characters into retail.

Sad as that is, it does make perfect sense.
