'Collector's Edition Pet' QuestionFollow

One of the things being offered with the Collectors Edition of the game is a free 'pet' (a panda, a mini-diablo and something else, can't remember).

My question is, what are the requirements for these pets? Are they like the pets you tame as a hunter? (Do you need to _be_ a hunter to get them?) What exactly is the deal with them?

These pets will be the exact same type of summonable pet as the Snakes, Cockroaches, Owls, etc. They are a non fighting pet, so all they do is follow you around and look neat.

You will gain no benefit from having one except as a status symbol that says "I bought the collector's edition".

So if they're non fighting pets, I assume that means they aren't limited to any particular class? And does that also mean you can just have them following you around regardless of what you're doing?

(If it's easier to explain this to me by just providing a link and saying 'go read', feel free *laughs*)

CE pets will behave like non-combat pets.

Check out the non-combat pet section on www.worldofwarcraft.com under game info/basics
