Hi all ^.^ I'm a FFXI player right now which explains the reason for this question *laughs* Once I've selected my character class, are you able to change it at will? Or is it once you've created that character, they're permanently that class? (Not counting 'upgrades' and so forth that Blizzard plan to include.)

I believe Final Fantasy is the only game in existance that uses that system.

nope (also a ffxi players, obvious by my tag) u choose one job one race and thats it for that player, just like it was in diablo2 or as i haeard it was in EQ. i dont think they are goin to charge for mutliple chars, atleast i have no way of knowing yet, but assume, if its like typical blizzard, they will not.

There will not be an extra charge unless you plan on having more than 50 characters. :P

They announced that each account will be able to create 50 characters, with a limit of 10 per server.

Actually, in a way this is a good thing ^.^ I've been struggling to decide whether to play as the Night Elves or Humans due to the mix of classes available to each. Since you can only pick one anyway, I don't have to decide anymore *laughs* (Just have multiple characters.)
