Inventory management ... unstacking :: World of Warcraft

Looked in the manual and can't find the answer. Is there a way to unstack a stack of items in your inventory? Say I have a stack of 5 potions and want to give 2 of them to a party-mate. Tried the shift/ctrl/alt left-click stuff and no go.
