Do any of you guys ever visit the worldofwarcraft.com forums?
The amount of negativity on these forums is absolutely horrifying, I didn't play in closed beta, so I can't post there to try to gather more information, so I figured I would try to ask here.
Every page of every job forum, main forum, and even the tradeskill forum is filled with people talking about cancelling CE, how Blizzard abondoned its fanbase, how crappy WoW is going to be, etc. etc. I know this is typical of any MMO forum, and particularaly common in beta stages. However, WoW is being released in a short few weeks, and the amount of complaints being voiced right now seems rather high to me.
For reference,
here is a thread, about the current changes to Warrior Taunt. It seems the arguement is coming down to Blizzard making a huge change to how they deal with CC management, and their idea of how many mobs a Warrior can tank.
Typically, I wouldn't be so concerned, but to be honest, it is a lot of level 60 players voicing conern, and its difficult to gauge the validity of their claims, but many of them seem to be very well thought out posts. However, there is also a fair share of bickering/elitism that I loved so much in other MMO's even in that thread I provided. People from different guilds bashing how few people they completed some ubur raid with, can't say it was very impressive. At any rate, I guess what I'm trying to ask, is, has Blizzard got a lot of serious work to do? Is that forum community whiny? Is it a balance of the two? Thanks for providing any info, flames, or whatever.
