Weapon Choices for a Warrior......Follow

Ok first off, im a Dwarf war. But have a question about weapon choice. 1st off there is what im using now which is 1h Axe and a shield. To me it seems they do the same dmg as a 2h Axe (about same DPS) Maybe thats just for the beginning part and it changes later on, im not sure though im only lvl 12..

So i made my way to the weapon trainer and saw i could train Swords, Hammers, and H2h.

Heres where i dunno what to do. Im not too rich now and 10s to train is a lot to me (only have 1gold coin) So should i train in All of them? Its got me kind of confused..

Although I would like to use H2H (was a mnk in FFXI) but would it be weak? are there any H2H weapons? Well anyways, PLEASE help me out with my delemma.

For example the differences in weapons types and stuff.
