So I'm just curious, what exactly is going to keep WoW from being botted/hacked? I'm more worried about bots due to the fact that getting out of fullscreen is a breeze and bots would easily be developed for mob killing and whatnot. I know every MMO gets botted in some way, but I don't see Blizzard making it any harder for them 0_o.

The truth is, locking games into full screen mode has never prevented any kind of botting. It is a minor annoyance at most to botters and a major annoyance to honest players. The biggest things Blizzard can do to prevent hacking/botting are things that we will never see on the client side. There will surely be some, but we'll just have to wait and see how well they handle it.

Here is my FFXI biased opinion...

They've made money so easy to obtain, that botting becomes pointless.

Its easy enough to obtain money through quests...this will reduce the need for 'farm bots' for the purpose of cornering the market or selling in-game money for real money on ebay. This also prevents any high level monsters from being continuously camped for their high-valued drops.

Also, levels are very easily gained compared to other MMORPG's, so the need for any kind of level gaining cheats become a complete game-ruining experience.
