About Downloading Open BetaFollow
Hello all, I've seen a few posts that boast that they've downloaded open and just need to sign up to start playing. So that got me looking for somewhere to download it at. Anyone know a place where I can download open beta from so when open actually hits I don't have to wait the good 3-4 hours I've heard downloading it takes? I apologize if this has been brought up before.
File is 2.6Gigs (I got it in 3 hours at an amazing 330kbytes/sec, those of us who once downloaded things on oldschool BBS's know why I think it's amazing).
As far as I know, the only place the file it currently hosted is FilePlanet. In theory you could get it from someone who downloaded it from there.
Blizzard has said that they will be hosting the file when open beta starts, as will FilePlanet. From everything I've read (and i might be wrong) Blizzard is not hosting the files at this moment.
Alright thank you, I shouldn't be impatient =P. After all I'm getting a free week or so to play the game =).

Blizz already ofer the files, but you need to create an account and so already have a key to get to the file downloader.
It use the bit torrent client.

Some guy posted a link in the forums to DL the client, i have it Downloaded and all that kinda stuff. Just waiting for OB so i can get my key from Blizzard =)
Also, theyve stated that the client they have out now, is the one used for release *giddy*. Glad i dont have to go through that again.

Check battle.net, someone had posted a link to the client, sort of a back door to evil fileplanets dl.
