Just 3 Hours Away...Follow

So I'm downloading the client as I type this, and figure I'll use the time for a crash course in WoW.

From the start, I wanted to be a Night Elf, so I think the Druid looks pretty cool. The class sounds like it has incredible versatility, but I have found that that usually comes with a lack of specialization in MMOs like this. I used to play on a MUD where Shapeshifting mages could take animal forms that had various melee abilities, the Druid sounds a little like that.

The Warlock looks neat as well, probably somewhat similar to an EQ Necro? Perhaps a good solo character would serve me well as I tend to play very late at night. Do Warlocks suffer from a lack of real usefulness in groups?

I enjoy support classes, and helping people. What are the divisions like between the "Factions"? Can Humans and Undeads group together?

My favorite EQ class has been my Shaman, how similar is the WoW Shaman to what I'm used to?

Why did I preorder EQ2 when I'm finally going to get to experience WoW? Probably the same reason I bought FFXI for the PS2 so I could 2 box, then realized I still hated the game...

Any good links for new players or server/guild suggestions would be happily accepted as well. And if you are feeling exceptionally generous, perhaps you could rate me up a bit?
