Whoever said WoW wasn't like ffxi? I'm camping so much more in WoW than I ever was in ffxi.. It's driving me crazy!! Every time that I try and get in someone always steals my spot =P. I keep checking the main page but its still not there. WoW camping is more frustrating because I can't see who I'm camping against =).
p.s. I just read on the WoW page that open beta is going to have a max amount of players... Noooo!!! I'll have to keep camping.

Anyhow thats what part of the stress test is about. to see what will happen if Tons of new people get into a server and see how areas can take the abuse of many newbs. The 1st stress test there where some zones that needed mobs to respawn quicker and add more to the location.
If you see that getting mobs is very frustrating in the zone you are in send a report to blizzard about it, after all its a stress test.

Big difference between camping for a quest item and camping for NM drops. Very big.
Besides, if getting monsters is becoming difficult, time to exercise the grouping option! Makes everything go much smoother...

I noticed some areas with problems due to there not being enough mobs or spawns to go around. This wont be a problem as the weeks go on, but in the beggining it will be a huge problem. If nothing else they will need to increase the spawn rate. The worst offender I've seen is the Jangolode mine. Kill 15 smugglers and 15 trappers. It took me hours to complete a quest that normally would take me maybe a half hour due to having to compete with about 25 other people for the same mobs.
which is why you should ask to group if the people are doing the same quest and you kill 1 enemy the whole group gets the kill also thus minimizing camping.

You do realize hes talking about trying to GET INTO open beta right lol. At least thats what i think hes saying, he means that he is checking main website alot because he doesnt wanna miss out on open beta seeing as it has max # of players, hehe just what i think hes sayin =)

Edit: Forgot to mention, im camping the WoW site too, but they said it woule be 5-7 days after start of final test so im guessing Saturday is earliest possible date, most likely monday or later im thinking.

yeah i spent 2 days DLing the client so that as soon as OB begins i can hop right in lol
