Everything that could go wrong, has so far. Well, save for not getting my key, it's just that I can't get into the game to make any use of it. FP sent me my key, I used it to get myself a username. I downloaded the game, and then after 18 friggin' hours, I finally had it. Now, I'm trying to unzip it. Good Lord, I can't figure out what's going wrong, nor where the hell simple WinZip went. Instead, it prompted me to use WinAce, which I had (for some reason) downloaded previously, and then after 20 minutes and it saying that it was almost done... it failed at the last second. I can't remember the message it gave me. Then I tried a different way of doing it (can't describe it without getting a degree in CSC), but it resulted in my computer freezing.

I need a hug...

I had the same problem with Unzipping too. I got a bad file and ended up downloading it again from another region.

Reasons why I will wait for open beta ;P
Face it, this is the most popular MMO ever and it has yet to be released. File planet blew up, Blizzard blew up and several fan boys blew up dealing with Blizzard and Fileplanet. Yep, I'm okay waiting...

Geeez, this reminds me of the first stress test...only worse...

Proof positive that God exists and he loves us: WoW.
Proof positive that praying works: I wake up this morning to find it completely unzipped. I'm currently a third of the way through the download. See you all in a few! ^_^

You need to use WinZip 9.0 per the instructions...Make WinZip 9.0 your default compression program. Or just drag the "zippped" file to the WinZip 9.0 icon to ensure you use WinZip and not the other file compression program you had installed.

Good luck.

When I use WinRAR it told me that the file is unknow format or corrupted. I used default unzip came with WinXP, it appeared to freeze, but after a while eventually it will finish unzip. The problem is probably because of the large file size.

I used the defualt windows zip program. It looked like it froze, but we all know sometimes with windows programs this just means it is working extra hard cause microsoft sucks. It worked, but not like a charm. =D
