I mean come on their webite couldn't even handle the closed beta testers. This isn't even open beta yet and the site is dead. Imagine retail.
When you think of the amount of fans that WoW has all hitting the website at once, I don't think any website can handle that many people. People are excited, they aren't leaving their computers, naturally the site is going to experiance some major lag.
Reminds me of the old days when alla used to die on patch days lol.
Well to be fair, do you log into WoW through www.worlofwarcraft.com?
I highly doubt retail is going to be like this. It's just the fact that they are having so much traffic that the 1 server they have or maybe more (I dunno their setup), cant handle it. That is a lot of bandwith being sucked up in a very very short amt of time.
