Its seems we crashed their website again and Im unable to access the site to create an account so I can play.
Im sitting here with the game fully installed and patched w/ keycode in hand and I can do anything.

LOL, well thats rough. I went to WoW.com, and there is the main page. It says the site is unavaliable, but gives a dead link to sign up for the stress test account creation, that blows.
strange.... after 3 + hours i got the key but........ i can't do any thing with it -_-;; what do i do???

i got the key and the link but i went to the site (wow) to register the key...but it's not doing any thing... not sure if i am doing something worng.... oh and i am dling the game right now
....any other ppl who got there key and have no idea how to start ? or register your key ? i went to the site but.... not muching is happing.......

OK so the link led you to d/l and you have the key. Problem is <wow> was down last I checked. Has that changed?

Well, then I can't help ya LOL, I got no key. When I get mine, maybe it will be working by then.
I'm waiting on my key, and I can access the signup, just keep reloading over and over and over, there is probably half a million of us out there doing this just messing around and we're killing, absolutely killing fileplanet and wow.com lol. See ya in there soon!
It's up now, at least it was 5 mins ago - got account created.

If you have your authentication key, you can go to www.worldofwarcraft.com and create your account now. You have to click "I agree" after selecting that you want to make a new beta account. After that it will prompt you for your CD authentication key, from there you continue just as though you were making a new account.

for anyone who has dowloaded it. about how fast are you downloading at. i am still doing one at like 3 kbs a sec. i am on T1 and was at 300kbs at one point so i know its not me. when i finaly get my email from file plannet will it be faster?
sorry i'm geting realy slow speed......... this will take forever...
8$ a month subscriber gettin 20KBps here, got my key and already made my account...just gotta DL the thing which will take 19-21 hours, lol

I was able to create my Blizzard account with the key i got from my acceptance page from fileplanet. The crappy thing is that 900mb into the d/l, my transfer rate dropped to zero...and never came back up. So now i'm d/l from the aussie and new zealand servers and am getting steady rates...although only around 60-70kbps. I tried to start the 900mb file over again, but it wouldn't let me. Oh well...hopefully it'll be done by the time i wake up tomorrow.
I would sign up for a blizz account... if I had a key.
But I don't. Because Fileplanet is crap.
