Was just wondering if anyone has been able to confirm if the 10-Day free guest pass is a full cdkey with a 10-day free trial (that can later be extended through monthly membership) OR strictly a 10-day ONLY trial that forces you to purchase the full retail version if you want to still play and have to start from scratch all over again.

i cant be 100% about WoW but i have done the 10 day free trial for otehr games. and what it dose is lets you insall your friends game and play with different CD keys for 10 days. after the 10 days that CD key is destroied and you need to purchase the game after to continue playing

Ouch, was afraid that would be the situation. Well guess I'll just have to crank out the cash for it. Btw, did they ever decide on what the "Exclusive in-game pet", heard a few suggestions passed back and forth. Hope they didn't decide on a baby zurgling, ugh!

Yeah, its just a 10-day trial, you must buy the full version to play, and as for the in-game pet, i think its is supposed to be eithor random, or a surprise.

I sow two pictures on the blizz forums of what were being touted as the bonus pet - 1 was a zergling and the other was a mini Diablo, but you never know with Blizz.
