No one knows ^^ I'm sure he'll pop up in a WoW expansion when they add in the Northrend continent. Or he very well could be somewhere in WoW since he promised Arthas his legacy would endure and Sylvannas stands in the way of that.

He's still commanding the Scourge in Lordaeron. All those Scourge undead that you fight aren't on autopilot; they're actively acting out Kel-Thuzad's orders. Kel-Thuzad isn't as skilled as Arthas at directing them, and he can't generate undead minions as quickly as Arthas can, but he's still got them going.

I think the official timeline is 2 years after end of The Frozen Throne, so anything could have happened between.

The scourge minions you encounter as the Forsaken are under the control of Kel'Thezzad. In the stress test I could not venture to the lands east of Lordaeron as it was protected by a very large and very powerful Infernal, you should have seen the bodies at the zone border.

In other words anything could have happened but I am sure game content will clear it all up.

Ah, yes. Good friend of mine had been swimming around for stranglekelp and found what was, apparently, a Scourge-controlled island. However, it had two large Infernals with the ominous name "Guardians of Blizzard" guarding the area. He swam, apparently, a little too close, so they cast Death Touch upon him. He died instantly.

(Note: he was the only person in the area, so he's communicating all of this in real-time to us via guild-chat.) So after he does his corpse-run, we see the following message:
"Hold on, I'm gonna try something."
Nothing for about fifteen seconds. Suddenly his icon goes dark.
"Well, apparently Death Touch has all the range it needs."

Classic.

One more story. It was Wednesday, with people still thinking that the Stress Test was gonna end on Thursday, so some people were ready to just do crazy stuff. So a few Horde agitators were spamming Barrens General chat, trying to get people organized for a raid into Night Elf territory. North of the Barrens is a forest, named Ashenvale I believe, and there's a fairly significant NE town along the road. That's where they were headed. One problem... all of these gung-ho berserkers were in the upper-teens to very-low-20s range.
I thought this was a bad idea. I told them so. The upshot was, "If you really feel like doing corpse runs in a foreign land, go right on ahead."
They ignored me and went right on ahead.
The NE guards slaughtered them all.

My guess is that he will *probably* be in some of the raid content that Blizzard isn't releasing to the beta community. (Yes, they are keeping some secrets from us so we don't know everything on release.)

Or it could be that he's at the far northeast end of the continent, where there aren't any zones yet, and will come in with a later expansion. (I presume that area will get figured in with Northrend.)

The Dreadlords had already taken over the undead near Lorderan with Sylvanis' help by the time Arthas had left for Northrend. My guess is that Kil'Jaeden fled to Quel'thalas to try gathering forces for when and if Arthas ever returned. When Blizzard opens up Quel'thalas we will probally see him.

You mean Kel'Thuzad, the Lich. Kil'Jaeden (the Deceiver) is an Eredar warlock, and the most powerful, highest-ranking demon in the Burning Legion still alive (since the deaths of Sargeras the Dark Titan, Archimonde the Defiler, and Mannoroth the Destructor). There is still a sizeable Scourge presence in Lordaeron (c.f. Eastern and Western Plaguelands) that is under Kel'Thuzad's control; that is not in question. I agree that Kel'Thuzad is probably fortifying Quel'thalas in preparation for a new landing by Arthas/Lich King. It might be funny if killing Kel'Thuzad were the object of some kind of raid... a very dangerous task, as one might expect, with a suitable reward one might hope!

I seriously doubt that Kil'jeaden will be raid content. It would completely devalue the demons.

o_O

Who ever suggested THAT? You made the same mistake some of the other posters did!

Kil'Jaeden (the Deceiver)== Eredar warlock, 3rd in command of the Burning Legion

Kel'Thuzad== undead Lich, major domo to Arthas and commander of the Lordaeron Scourge

Now tell me... which of these is more likely to appear in-game? As I said in another thread, although Kil'Jaeden's influence might be felt, NO ONE in the world of Azeroth has the power and the willingness to summon the warlock into the world. Except maybe, MAYBE Illidan... but he'd have to pry the Last Spellbook of Medivh from Kel'Thuzad's cold, undead fingertips to pull it off, and I don't see that happening. Kel'Thuzad we'll probably see, again probably as raid content. Kil'Jaeden? Not a chance.

Woops, mixed up the names. You knew what I meant though :)

We may see Kil'Jaedon though. I'm sure he's not finished trying to rid the world of the Lich King, so perhaps in a later expansion they'd allow players to choose between Lich King or Kil'Jaedon's side in an epic war.

Bleh, you talk about kiljaeden in another post and it haunts you in another. Saw him say Kil'jeaden when he said kelthuzad.
