Blizzard always make my blood boil!!Follow

Everytime Blizzard announce the release or something for another country, like recently Austalian and New Zealand, It makes my blood boil..

Blizzard i know you dont care about the other countries because the number of subscribers is not as many as NA and Korea..But that dosent mean that you should neglect us..You will be letting all your fans living in these countries down..

Just do a worldwide release at the same time will you!!

If you continue in this way, I have no choice but to say that you are equally racist as SE, who only care about the japanese..you only care about countries with many subscribers..thats worst! (so i wont consider you racist, but money hungry b@stards instead!!)

One thing you need to understand, FFmania, is that Blizzard is a business and it's all about the bling bling. With that being said, they do need to focus on the 2 countries that make them successful, namely America and Korea. Since Blizzard is a American game studio, an American release goes without saying but Korea is probably the greatest supporter of Blizzard made games.

Since South Korea banned Japanese products from being imported into their country due to the former Japanese rule in Korea, Koreans relied on the PC for their gaming needs. Even though the Japanese ban is slowly fading away, PC is the number one form of gaming in South Korea. In the matter of fact, Korea is the online gaming capital in the world. 70% of the Korean people have access to the internet. Hell, PC cafes is almost on every block in Korea. One of the most popular games ever in South Korea is Starcraft.

Everybody and their mother in South Korea knows Starcraft. The game sold millions within weeks of being introduced, due to it's fast pace gameplay and the competition. This paved the way for other successes like Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3. Hell, a guy in South Korea died after playing Diablo 2 for 48 hours straight. Believe me when I say that Korea is a goldmine when it comes to Blizzard games. To avoid releasing the Korean version along side with the American version would not be a good business move.

Aside that, you need to understand that certain versions of the games need to go through either a division of the company in a certain country or must go through another company to be released. For example, the Chinese version is not going to be released through Blizzard but by The9, the largest online gaming company in China. Even though Blizzard is releasing the European version, they must be able to translate for the various languages such as French and Italian. Australia is easy to develop and release for because the primary language is English and there is not much interference when it comes to government importing policies.

Just relax and wait patiently, FFmania. Research and see if the game will be released in your country. If it is not, write a email to Blizzard and see if there is any plans for the game to be release in your country. Keep in mind that Blizzard is a business and they must focus on areas where they can be guaranteed success before releasing worldwide.

Im from Singapore, and obviously, the people here will get the English version..But blizzard are such punks that they dont even care to mention anything about these countries (Mainly Singapore and Malaysia).

Korean version out!
Italian, French , etc Version out!
Chinese version, maybe..
English version, majority will get this, so why cant blizzard just do a worldwide release for their english version??

Dont you know that alot of asian countries speak alot of english?? Like me, english is my best language, the only other language i know is chinese, but its only mediocre..

Hmmm, I'm not sure how truthful the date is but it seems that a Singapore release will be December 30th. Sure, a longer wait but if it's up on this site that means Blizzard didn't forget about ya.

Hey, I do what I can ;D

Just wanted to add that I found this preview in the Gamespot Asia site: http://www.gamespotasia.com/pcgames/previews/story/0,2000009270,30075828,00.htm

Since Gamespot Asia is known to provide info to all Asian nations, I'm sure that WoW will be released in Singapore with no problem. See, FFmania? Hope still exists!

You also seem to fail to understand that releasing the game in a country means you have to not only have a server cluster set up there with all the necessary pipelines and maintenance staff and such, but you need tech support as well.

This costs a lot of money and is not easy to set up. They're doing what they can. Oh, and also, they're hungry for your cashmoneys.
