You had written in this post:
Quote:
Must be good flamer and %(&*% talker.

But your clan rules say:
Quote:
3. Treat all members with dignity and respect. Be an example for others and treat others as you would like to be treated.

4. Do not use demeaning remarks such "We raped you" or "Newbie." It's easy to put others down and all it really shows is a lack of respect for others.

I was just wondering which were true?

Should people looking to join you be good flamers and trash talkers, or be respectful and not use such language?

Personally this clan looks like a 2-in-1 deal, we get to trash talk, and PvP.. and.. flame. Wow, JAEFo, you may like this clan, seriously.

(Edit)
ACTUALLY.. The site looks very nice, but from the "must be good at trash talking and flaming" first turned me off, eh, they actually look very stable. Well done on the site.
(Edit)

However, you can't always judge a book by it's cover. For all I know, they could be just like the scum that's on my shoes (it trash talks and flames too.)

*// Me being a ****.
Then, on another note, this clan, looks extremely retarded. lol, aw well, MO!

Any guild that encourages people to flame anyone is not worth my time, sorry.

One thing though, I hope you realise that any flameing will be useless as all your speech reads as gibberish to the alliance. They speak human languages, you speak orcish.

Regardless, good luck. Even if its not for me, ther are some who might enjoy that structure. Nice website too.

This isn't for the enemy, it's for THEM! Talking trash with their friends makes them feel like the men they aren't.

I actually point out their conflicting statements just for the sake of showing how stupid the original posters comes across as.

In other words, we're a bunch of 10 year old kids who plan to get to max levels then fight people 10 levels lower or more and brag about it. We don't actually have any skill, we're just going to zurg you with numbers or higher levels to win.

Sounds like DIE(a WoW guild currently in beta who uses this tactic). Flaming and trash talk is great for those "internet-tough-guys" who only have any balls when they can't be seen. They only do this online because they can't get away with it in real life where they have no power.

Actually there was dry humor in that specific post. Calling us the kids, you couldn’t even understand the sarcasm within it. Only you would be naive enough to think that clans actually look for flamers over good pvpers? That's like republicans saying they look for rednecks over nobles? Obviously people would laugh at that, but only someone as pretentious as you would think it's true if they said so. It's called dry humor. By the way we're much older then 10, some of us are old enough to be your dad, and yes that’s right we’ve been around for 8 years, long before you were probably even born. I think you can even ask your friends on these forums that 8 years for a clan is no easy joke.

Anyways, lighten up and grow a ****, then come back and make fun of me.
By the way for those of you really that are interested in our clan stop by for our meeting.
Date and location is posted on our forums.

People have nothing to go on other than what you say and absolutely nothing you said indicated any form of humor. Unfortunately for you, people have nothing to go on other than what they see.

In the future, you might want to use some form of literary indication that you are trying to promote humor. Unfortunately we aren't using "teamspeak" here and didn't listen to a recording so we can't sense from the "tone" of your voice that you were being humorous. You might also try just saying what you mean rather than things not intended.

I happen to be 34 btw. Having been around that long and using computers since I was 12, I know how important it is to say exactly what you mean so as to not be misunderstood. Any time to want to "measure up", let me know. I'll show you who the boss is. I'm certainly not the only one who got the wrong idea from your post as you can see by all the other replies.

Besides that, I've seen a lot of guilds that say one thing on their sites and then go off doing something completely different. So, based on you, what else were we supposed to think? It's not like there aren't guilds that act exactly as you originally stated.

Would have been easier to just name their guild "YoMama", would save a lot of so called conversation with them.
