I'm with you Gamesta PvP for Life. As for the word Carebear it really is a good name for the PvE server. For the server that is consisted of people that are Rpers, whiners that is a great name for them. I think upon release they should remove pvp from the PvE server. It's such a terrible system and it is just for consensual PvPers which makes it all peaceful and takes away the fact that they are in war. Who wants to play in the Server where you can walk up to your enemy and wave at them, i think this game is about war right? My friend played on that server and he got so annoyed of having to taunt people so they would fight him. Many people in that server don't engage in any kind of PvP. What pisses me and my friend off the most is when there is a city raid and there are some pussys that don't help anyone in their city because they are too blubieish to fight because they are roleplaying. I mean do you like how when a guild is raiding your city and some people refuse to help when most of your guildies are dying and many just carry on with there day. This is not how the PvP server is and thats why i love it pure PVP in it's best form i'm looking forward to the ganking issues going away with this new point system. I am never going to buy another game that is all Bluebie servers. Ever since i played Eq i got tired of it what i did was i payed to take my char to the PvP server to have actual fun. I don't like L337 speak anyways i just like using the word Carebear because if you know the show you would understand why the PvE people are called this.
Hmmm, if I want to play a game that revolves around war, I'll go play a FPS or a stragety game, not a MMO. In the same time, the story of WoW does revolve around war but it shouldn't detour from what the game is, a MMO.
When it comes to removing all elements of PvP from the PvE server because of the fact it's consensual, I simply think its a wrong move. Yes, the game has a war theme. Yes, the pvp element is part of the game as well. Yes, this game is a MMO. *Gasp!* Its a MMO! You know what that means? It means that people are doing various things such as shopping, fighting, exploring, crafting, questing, raiding and yes, even competing against each other. People come to play MMOs for the choice to do what they want, when they want and have fun doing so. Gamers enjoy the option to pvp when they want, quest when they want and raid when they want but gamers do not enjoy being forced to do so. You want to go to a server that forces you to focus on one aspect of the game? Wonderful, PvP is the choice for you but don't try to deny the people the choice to do the same in the PvE server.
As for the term "carebear", its up there with the word "noob" when in comes to words I hate. Besides, being in a pvp doesn't prove a thing. Your chances of getting your *** whopped in a pvp match in the pvp server are the same as in the pve server.
