So we dont get 80% on good side and 20% on the Evil side, and if thats the case has Blizzard thought about any caind of solution to get both forces equal strong??

???... well i wont go there to the spelling part since i make mistakes.

Check out battle of a life time thread. AS far as the raid i was in it didnt seem anyone had the advatage of 1 group being more than the other. As sides go its more of a 50/50 in all servers.

Why, Blizzard made every race appealing and the stories behind each race always make you think your doing the right thing in the world.

there is 4 races on each side i don't think there will be a huge imbalance...
Can you please work on the spelling i'm not flaming it kind of bothers me.

There's misspelling because you're leet and this is the internet, and then there's misspelling because English isn't your first language. I think we're dealing with the latter here.

The PvP server is not perfectly balanced, but this is because Blizzard has done more work (so far) with Alliance, so some people did not want to play Horde since there was less to do. It is not a BIG difference, except that on the PvP server, people often want to be on the "winning" side, so that made even more and more people pick Alliance...especially when they were getting killed over and over in a place called Hilsbrad, which is the only decent place to play at one level for Horde, but also a place where higher-level Alliance people go.

When Blizzard finishes re-doing all the Horde zones, I do not think there will be this problem.

Alliance will always have more people than horde. To make the game true to the warcraft theme, the horde lands are not as flashy as the alliance lands. Alot of people just like to be the "good guys" and some don't like the horde looks.

Huh??

Alliance always will have more than the Horde?

Are you joking Stumpy?

I ... HATE Alliance with a passion. I'd never be them.

I mean, it's not the people who play that I hate, it's the fact that they are humans, dwarves, and gnomes. (I did not include night elves, cause I LOVE the way the girls dance *wink*) Gnomes - Annoying. Dwarves - Fat and smelly. Humans - I am one so it's no fun.

My reasons for hating the Alliance above.

I'll bet any amount of in game gold, a month after release, alliance has more players and will always have more players. So, if you want to wager let me know ^^

Ha, gentlemens bet? ;)

I ain't gonna bet any money, but, it's just, I tried alliance, and horde, and, I found horde SO much more fun. Maybe I just am too EvuL? *wink* *wink* *wink*

I think that right after retail, there will be more Horde then Alliance.

Why? Because people will enjoy the novelty of playing as what is typically a monster race. The Horde races, normally cannot be played, they are monsters that you kill in games.

This will prompt alot of people to try them out.

A month or so after release, it will even out, with maybe a slight Alliance advantage.

I see the PvP servers being mostly Horde though.

I'm horde, but I see the majority being Alliance. Mostly because most idiots that play can't actually think for themselves or have any original thought behind their characters and they will just go Human. Same reason you see lots of Humes in FFXI, people didnt want to bother with race appearance or stats and too the easy way out.

I have it on good account(having read it from the WoW beta boards) that Alliance outnumbers horde typically 3 to 1. I don't remember where I read it as I wasn't expecting a quiz on it later. :P Anyway, dispite that, PvP they should be pretty evenly matched. I think those that play the horde on average are more PvP minded than Alliance players and in that respect should balance out.

If you check the official WoW site you'll see the recent Korean PvP war where the Horde kicked Alliance butt.

I expected Alliance to outnumber Horde, but not three to one. That seems a little extreme. I'd have assumed somewhere in the ballpark of 1.5-2 to 1. Then again, I don't play Horde - I just assume that I don't see them because there are select few places where we interact.

The way i came to undestand it was that the hord were the good guys. or at least there both nutral its just a war. no good guys or bad guys. and if i had to pick a bad guy it would be the alliance. with Darius getting all crazy like he did in warcraft 3.

but...but...the Alliance has elves and dwarves! And the Horde has Orcs and Trolls! How could the Alliance possibly be the evil ones??

You are right. This is just the commonplace thinking of players who haven't finished WC3. However, I wouldn't think of the Alliance as evil so much as authoritarian. Only the undead are really evil.

Bliz can always use the racial bonuses as incentives to even out the factions. Even unbalanced like it is now, game play and PvP in groups is fine.

see i like toplay the "good guys" no matter who they are or what they look like so after i played wc3 i said "hay when wow comes out, im playing hord."

this is just somthing on a side note....im always thinking of good moives to be made and i think that if wc3 was turned into a movie it would be awsome. greaT animation. awsome story line . and twist and turns like a dr. suse drawing. but thats just somthing i've thought about in the past.
