Naw I think he's right, It's like "Hero" Status, I dont' think anyone in Beta is there now since the attainable lvl is 60 and the lvl cap is 55, but Blizzard probably won't implement it until retail or until the 1st update. Still isnt' untouchable buddy, Every Race have one.

Oh look, Heros, that topic that Blizzard has released no information about. This deserved a new topic. Yay.

Official word from Blizzard on "Hero" classes found here amoung other things

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general&t=197451#Post197451

Quote:
What should players expect in the World of Warcraft end-game? That is, is there an end-game for casual gamers as well as power gamers, small guilds, groups of friends, large guilds, etc.?

New content will be continuously added into the game and players can always expect to see new events and things for them to do and achieve in the game. Players that do eventually hit the level cap will have the option to participate in a variety of end-game content, such as:

Individual players can work toward a hero class.

The PvP System will be more advanced than it is today -- including the addition of rewards.

Guilds will have an extensive amount of raid content available to them with many zones and "uber" bosses to defeat.

Yes, there will be hero classes for players at the end game. Whether the "endgame" is at lv 50 or 60 is still unknown. Whether these classes will be tested in beta is still unknown also. Telling you the truth, little is known about hero classes. All that is known is that they will appear, come retail or otherwise. I guess only time will tell.

::rollseyes:: I am being flamed by un-professional flammers? Jesus.

If you want to flame me, go to college, get a degree in flaming.

Because, you suck at flaming ^^.

Bah, you guys need to grow up more than I do, and I'm only 14.

If you haven't noticed, JAEFo has a good sense of humor, flames people good, gets me to laugh, I like laughing, not JAEFo. :D, He has flamed me too, but what's different about me, and you, is, you cry and whine and *****, I just take it, laugh, and maybe add a flame to my reply.

Summary:

You suck, I own.

Thanks Redmoon for the official word of Hero status, hidden wayy under all the ******* in that little forum, eh? Must have took hours to dig it up ;).

P.S. Oh, and, it was a LOC, due to he says

, that's what I referred to as a LOC, due to, I tested it myself, it doesn't bring up anything near a "hero" status. Thank you.

You know i don't recall anytime that i was whining in the forums. Degree in flaming?
this response is just laughable. Your intelligence really speaks in your posts you know kid. Now that i see your age and all it gives me more of a reason to just ignore your posts. The fact that i'm arguing with a complete moron is a waste of time.
You know you can just keep on flaming here because your not getting anywhere with it. All you are doing is getting more enemies. I'm just going to ignore posts of yours in the future. I suggest that you and me should just ignore each other completely because i have better things to do than continue this.

Whoa, slow your role Gihja, don't take this to a place you don't want to go. My question is why'd you even reply in the 1st place? First you continue to egg on whoever even started this mess with the "he's trying to score points" BS, Then you just continue with your nonchalant remarks to make yourself feel important in a pathetic attempt to get in the last word. Let the man say what he want to say, last I checked this discussion was about heros in WOW. Lets keep it there.

Heh :), I do.... but creamed is cool, just young, I just hate to see people rag on someone else because of there age. Also because we're on a forum so he can say what he want and hide behind a computer screen in his room eating KFC all day while watching ****. Some people KNOW they can't say some of the sh*t they say in real life to a real ************ without getting they as* kicked.

I never played DAOC but is a lvl 11 Champion Strong or just a normal lvl 11 character in any other game? Also how would you compare FFX1 to DOAC since you seemed to have played both? Better/Worst gimme the whole 9 yards.

I'll hook ya up on the info ^^

You see, in DAOC, you start off with a base class, like warrior and such. When you get to a certain point (lv 5 I think...) you get to upgrade that base class to a new class. The class you get to choose depends on the realm you are in, with each realm specializing in a role.

Hiberia = Magic
Albion = Balanced between melee and magic
Midgard = Melee

Examples of Branching classes are:

Albion Fighter to Paladin
Midgard Rogue to Shadowblade
Hiberia Nature to Warden

I picked the Hiberian champion >.> which is nothing more then a DD though I used him as a tank. From what I remember, that class had tons of debuffing. Haven't played in awhile...like pass the free month lol

As for FFXI vs DAOC, kinda tough since I haven't played much of DAOC to compare but I'll try my best:

Graphics - FFXI
Controls - FFXI (I will forever suck at controlling my character in DAOC. People manage but I'll never will)
Interface - DAOC (You can move your chat window, stats window, compus, everything! Plus 2 chat channels. One for combat and the other for chatting. A red mage's dream)
Pace - FFXI (DAOC starts hellishly slow for me.)
Story - FFXI
Classes - DAOC
Balance - DAOC
Quests - DAOC
Content - DAOC (Realm vs Realm, Raid content and all the uber items you want)
Tradeskills - DAOC (Weapons and Armor wear down and you can fix them. How cool is that?)
Sound and Music - FFXI (DAOC has the worst combat music ever created)
End game - DAOC (Even though I haven't seen the end game, I know for sure through reading that its way better then FFXI, where all you do is hunt HNMs...)

Just a small ******************** review. Its up to you. Just want to let ya know that you can try DAOC for 7 days here
http://www.fileplanet.com/files/130000/136481.shtml
I guess you can make your judgement from there.

As for my thoughts on which is better, I have no idea... Really, the jury is still out on that one >.>

Just wanted to add that in terms of purchase, I would describe DAOC as "More bang for your buck" since picking up a copy is cheap (Got mines for 20 bucks) while FFXI as "Where all the cool kids hang out" with the packed servers and such. DAOC still has a good community in size but FFXI has twice as many subscribers. No worries about DAOC fading since its still active with a new expansion on the way.

Yea and one of those people are you. You shouldn't even get in this mess because i wasn't talking to you and you don't know the responses that i've gotten from Creamed. The reason why i make fun of him because of his age is he doesn't have the maturity to act normal and not flame everyone. I guess you seem to like him for how he acts good for you, but i don't. I don't even want to bother again with this.

Just wanted to add in my 2 cents. Last time I check, the internet is not really a place to argue or try to 1up someone. Guardian does make an interesting point when it comes to flamers. Flamers can flame all they want because they are in the safey of their own home. This is one of the main reasons why I'll never flame in a forum. If I want to settle a problem, I prefer to be face to face with that person in question.

That being said, continuing to argue over this crap is pointless. Whats done is done and niether one of you will be a clear winner. You guys want to go fight, pick a game and compete otherwise go meet each other in real life and get this over with. Flaming in nature is always pointless and is useful to no one. As the old saying goes, put up or shut up.
