hay well i played galaxies hoping to get jedi...never happend..is there any thing like that in this game..like a super char. and if there is what can a troll hunter become
No such thing, everything has it's strenghts and Weakness's here, no such thing as a physic, mind-controlling, unbelieveably lucky, light saber weilding, jack off runing around killing everything like SWG. FYI You and every other 12-17 year old kid is probably gonna being a Hunter when the game goes live. Good luck with all that :)
Why do you think everyone's going to play a hunter? I fail to see the broad appeal to everyone. If you want to blow things up, you play a mage. If you want to slice and dice, you play a rogue. If you want to be able to take damage as well as you dish it out, you play a warrior. If you want to be desired in a group, you play a priest. There's certainly no Pokemon aspect to hunters, more like Tamagochi if anything, if that's what you were hinting at.
I'm playing one now, and although I was eagerly awaiting the chance, considering my history of playing amazon in Diablo, I'd say I'm justified. There's a lot of hunters *right now*, but I bet in a month, their numbers will have dwindled considerably unless Blizzard does some major beefing up.

Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
I might be playing a Hunter in release because they seem fun. I don't see the point in generalizing the age of the people that make hunters just because to you it seems like it's playing pokemon. If i was to make a hunter It wouldn't even be for the pets. I like hunters because I use to play a ranger in everquest and they where fun for me. It was fun to attack things with a bow for me. As for Jedi I played a BH in SWG and yea jedi where a pain in the *** they where unstopable because of 80% saber block...

If you played WC3 there was something called heroes that you could control that were much more powerful than the other units.Maybe someday they might Implement Heroes in this game so there could be superior characters.

Sorry for the broad Generalization guys, But I have my reasons and I'm 21 btw....and I was into SWG when Creature Handler was GREAT, and everyone and they momma had a pet showing off lol, it' was just annoying to me that's all. I like Ranger, I was a Ranger/Nin in FFX1 but hunter just seems a little too unbalanced compared to other classes in the offensive department, but then again this could be from just reading information and not seeing them in action. Oh well I'll put money up, the Hunter class WILL outnumber Warriors, or Priest in the getgo of this game. :)
btw Chimpokemon would kick any of Ash's pokemon's as$ any day of the week. You can't tell me you wouldn't go out and buy an Alabama Man action figure or a Wild Wacky Action Bike if you saw it in a store this minute!!!

Hunters aren't some kind of all-powerful demi-gods. Not yet, anyway.

Well Imgonna be a warrior when wow finally goes gold.
Im 27 and yes I do play pokemon (more for my daughter she loves the show and is only 3) its actually enjoyable.

Well to tell a story of wut ive gone through eve rsince the WOW site came out, ive thought about playing each and every character ATLEAST once, and after the hunter came out naturally i thought about playing it, and still do. Every game ive played ive either bin a Warrior or Priest, so i thought id chose a differant style, and just to say im 15, that doest mean my other 15 year old friend will play a hunter. Thats jus my 2 cents on the subject

I've recently quit FFXI and looking for a new game to play.. damn Wish for getting pushed back.. but anyways, started looking into WoW.
The class that I like best so far is the Hunter class. I'm just hoping for some ability to solo, unlike FFXI where you have to party to level up.
And BTW, I'm 30.
It looks like it could be fun to play, with the ranged abilities and the beast aspects, along with the ability to have a pet.
Didn't like the Night Elves at first, but they're growing on me, so will probably be a Night Elf Hunter (if I end up playing WoW, which is still up for debate..)

Heh, currently, looking at how things are, I am definitely for a very first character making an Undead Rogue, I am usually in any game a magic character.
I like magic, but I don't like the fact, that, once I get the spells that are in line for me, I am done, I have gotten the spells, and I can use them, upgrade them, yes, but, unlike a melee character I can't go get a new weapon that has poison damage on it (maybe) and a 20% chance to inflict a critical hit. So, yeah, maybe I can get a new staff to make my spells stronger, but they have to max out at sometime.
Basically, the way I see it, is, melee characters seem to have more variety, more endless play than a spellcaster. However, spellcasters do own when the monsters all group.
Ha, we'll see when it hits retail.
Also, I searched "nicholi" on www.SNOWBOARD.com, and nothing came up. :\ I don't care if you're 12, or 21, doesn't matter to me, it just really doesn't seem like you're 21. :D

There are items that improve spell damage.
