Ok so the hunter class is now avialable... Unless my mind fails me, this is like a magor jump for blizzard isn't it? I mean, what else do they need to accomplish now? More Talents? Spells? Armor? Quest? Mobs? If that's it... don't they do this stuff daily? Does that mean this game could really be out by october 15th? *Gets his hopes up again*

This patch was a huge reinvention of the classes and mobs. All the stats were reinvented and mobs were completely overhauled. As much as they are still playing with the basics of the game, I seriously question if the game will even make a November or December release. Sorry to rain on your parade.

Two steps forward, one step sideways. That's the way of Blizzard.

Balancing still needs to be done after the the rest of the talents are put in. They would have to rush to get everything done for an October release. I wouldn't count on it ^^

Did any of the other testers have an aweful time trying to download the patch? Twenty four hours of downloading and the servers go down right after I finished. Doh

Yeah, as much as there is done (and it is alot), I'm sure there's still plenty left to do before it's ready for retail. Don't expect an october release unless you want to be disappointed.

I just reserved a copy of the Collector's Edition tonight from EBgames and was told they had a release date of Nov. 18th for it. I would be highly impressed if it's even out by then. I'd expect something closer to early to mid December.
