heh, ty. I was beginning to wonder.

edit: Are there any zones people would like to see a write-up of? Please be aware that I play Alliance, so if you say The Barrens, I might hit you. (Then again, my one horde character is level 18 and doing Barrens quests right now.)

Well, daveo, the alternative would be to have a guide that has just the neutral quests to Ratchet in it and ignore the Crossroads, Camp Taurahe, etc. It was intended as a joke though; if I had requests for the Barrens or Silverpine or whatever, I'd do some research.

Alekan, sure, as soon as I get the chance to actually play it and have reasonable certainty it's finished. I would not write a guide on, say, the Blasted Lands even though it's out, because I have no doubt there is more content in that zone coming. Hand me a completed ED or Mount Hyjal and I will be more than happy to learn the zone and tell you all about it.

If nobody suggests anything, Stranglethorn is probably at the top of my own list. I wrote a coarse guide to it for a guildmate, which is what got me started on this whole spiel in the first place.

Hi azurac, i know this may sound a little cheeky but, ive been reading your guide to teldrassil, and me being about as intelligent as a baked potato, find it confusing following the directions, im not asking you to change them or anything, its just if someone could direct me to a link for a map or something it would be really apprieciated, so i can make a note of everything ready for retail. thanks in advance, actually, thanks for the walk through aswell, im sure it will provide very usefull in the game. cheers

Sorry, you would *think* I'd notice a thread with my name being bumped, but I missed it somehow the last two days. I posted a response to the guide that might help a little bit.

The crude version is though, Dolanaar is the center of the zone. From there...

Your starting area is to the northeast.
Starbreeze Village is due east. Ferocitas is on the other side of it.
Lake Al'Ameth is south and southeast.
The Pools of Arlithen are southwest. The glowing plant and Ursal the Mauler are beyond them.
Ban'Ethil Hollow is due west. Darnassus is further to the west.

The northwest quadrant of the zone, (this is excluding Darnassus,) is split down the middle by the Wellspring River. The moonwell, harpies, etc, are all west of the river. The only thing east of the river is Lady Sathrah (and not always at that.)

A picture is worth a thousand words. I realized this after I had written a thousand word essay trying to describe where things are.
