Let me start off by saying, YES!, I am a WoW Beta Newb. So here are my newb questions that I hope someone may answer for me..........

1) I am an Orc Warrior on the PvP Server. I noticed in my few (unlucky) encounters with Alliance members some things that have me wondering. Tell me if what I say is right, or correct me please.....In a Horde Zone, I saw one, his tag was yellow, he couldn't attack me unless I attacked him first, I understand that. Now.. I am not completley sure, wasn't paying that much attention ( which is not a good thing to do on PvP I am quickly learning LOL), but isn't Ratchet a Horde Zone? Encountered 3 Alliance that were on the docks as I approached them to turn in a quest item. 2 of the 3 had their names Tagged in Red. One killed me when I had passed them. So in all that rambling my real question is, what is the difference between the yellow tagged Alliance and red tagged ones? Is their any? And if Ratchet IS a Horde zone, why were they able to attack me first?

2) When your name is green (meaning you can be attacked due to attacking others of opposing faction or opposing NPC's, how long does that last? 5 Minutes?

3) Where in the HELL can I find Mail head gear that a lvl 20 Warrior can wear? Anyone have an idea? Looked on every WoW site for gear, quests, etc., can't get good enough info to get a lead as to where I can find some.

Thanks in advance.

1) I don't play on the PvP server, so I can't comment on yellow versus red. On the other server, all players are yellow. I will, however, say that Ratchet is not a Horde town. It is a goblin town, meaning it is neutral. The rest of the Barrens is Horde land, and the fact that there is a boat to Ratchet that Alliance members can use to get there does piss a lot of people off. But Ratchet is not Horde, and never trust someone of the other faction on PvP.

2) On the PvE server, if you attack an NPC of the other side, your name will turn green like that, meaning you are fair game to anyone who wants to try to PK you. (If they touch you, they go green as well.) This lasts for five minutes from the last thing you did that would give you a green name. I can only assume that on PvP, this just acts as a sort of tagging system to say that this person has recently engaged in acts of PvP.

3) Some slots do not have items for them from the get-go. Shoulders, for instance. You probably have a pair of pauldrons *now*, but you probably didn't find any until level 15. Headgear is no different, and you will just start seeing armor at level 20. The only exception is if you are an engineer, and make your own goggles.
