What race and class do you want to be?Follow

Well, for me I'm going to be a human rogue. All those sneaky abilities sound really, really cool. Then maybe later a mage or warrior. What do you guys want to be when you get the game?

If i do quit my current addiction (FFXI, hopefully this will replace some of my wants to head back to EQ^^)Ill be a night elf rogue or human warlock(no monk or necro ;_;). Hopefully ill wind up on a server this time which is populated by a few popular members of Alla, i always get the b@s%t^rd step child servers which i know no one >.<

I am leaning towards a Dwarven Hunter or a Gnome Rogue.

(This isn't Karle posting btw.... it's the wife)

I had been leaning towards Undead Warrior, then if they do add the hero classes, a Death Knight, if possible =)

Undead warlock seems to be working well for me. i would like to try a mage later on though. ive seen what kinda damage they can dish out... and... damn... if you can get a warlock, and a mage to team up with a tank to distract the mob for about 5 seconds, it drops before it reaches the players. (depending on level of course)

That's really cool. I like human because they can be a lot of things. Orcs and Tauren (sp?) are pretty limited in their classes. Human has basically every single class I like, except for hunter. =( Rogue sounds really cool to roleplay also. For example, lurking in the back of an in with your dagger and a cloak no one can see your face. Like Aragorn in the first movie of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

After having played the game, I'm really not sure. All I know is that I won't be playing Warrior or Priest (not my style.) It's nice finally playing an MMORPG where there are no truly boring classes. Goodbye EQ, hello interesting gameplay.

I was thinking along the lines of a Night Elf Druid since it sounds so much like a Red Mage in FFXI (I loved that job), a Night Elf Rogue or a Undead warlock.

Well, i'm going Night Elf Druid to start. You guys should check out their abilities they rock. There's awesome buffs, and you get healing and damage spells. And ofcourse you can shapeshift. (and you only have to get to level 10 before getting bear :D )But after that i'll prolly go Dwarf Warrior. I gotta be a dwarf with a musket.

Night Elf Priestess and Human Female Mage will be my first two job/race combinations (based on the reading I've been able to do over the past 2 days). Think I like being a caster much? ^^ (read my sig)

Night Elf Rogue, Night Elf Hunter, Night Elf Priestess at first at least.

Yes, I like the Night Elfs :P. Starting with the NE Rogue though, and heading back to XI if WoW proves to be disappointing (Always can come back after a few patches though)

I am going to hold off on that decision until I see what the innate differences are between the races. I love classes with pets, so I am sure it will be one of those two.

I was thinking about being a rouge (seems a popular choice) mainly because i like the thief job in the ffxi and all rouge abilities sound so dam bloody and awsome.

Rogues sound cool as do the casters but I think I would start with a Dwarf warrior or paladin so that I can get a good grasp of the game.

Thinking a Paladin, either Night-Elf or Human. But some point I got to try evil and do an Undead something. :)

Tychon, night elves can't be paladins. Human/dwarf only.

There are no DARK elves. Just because they have skin that isn't a pale white does not mean that they are unholy abominations.
