How do Non-Rogues open locked boxes?Follow
I know that the Rogue has the ability to open locked boxes, chests etc.. Is their an in expensive way to allow other classes to open stuff. I ask this as my main received a heavy locked box from a mob but I cant open it. And there are no Rogues in our Guild.
You can get a rogue to unlock it through the do not trade window.
Also, blacksmiths can craft skeleton keys, however you have to be a blacksmith in order to be able to use them. This can also be done through the do not trade window.
Most rogues are willing to do it for free, especially if they get a skill up on it. Otherwise a small tip usually suffices.

It's not that I mind trying to help but you know, maybe spam a bit less.
Thanks so much for the responses. Not wanting to Bother a bunch of random rogues with this. I figured that if there were a way to open it without doing that this board would know it.
I open them for free IF AND ONLY IF you ask. You don't even have to use the actual word "please" in your sentence. Just be tact about it.
Usually, I don't respond to the spam since my Lock Picking skill is already 300. This gives lower level rogues a chance to raise their skill.
HOWEVER...If you just click on me then hit trade and place the locked box in the window expecting me to just LP it for you, then expect me to hit cancel and ignore you. Some people just need to learn some manners. Until I activated "Block all trades" in Interface options, players would pull that ***** while I'm at the bank, mailbox, working on a tradeskill or at the AH.

IDN if Seaforium charges work on these lockboxes, but they wouldn't be worth the cost/waste of a charge. They hard enough to find as it is, or so I hear. Most of the time, asking in general or trade channel will find you at least 1 person who can do it (except maybe thorium lockboxes, because those require such a high lvl of LP). In fact, I even have a macro that advertises 1) my ability to LP up to <insert lvl here>, currently Reinforced Steel, and 2) my ability to Transmute Arcanite. I just hit it every min or so, works out OK. Right now, I do all lockboxes for free, whether or not I get a skillup, but I might start accepting small donations as I get closer and closer to lvl 60 and needing my epic mount/gear (although it probably won't make much of a difference seeing as it will be such a small amount.)
