Ok, I understand, the entire point of station cash (sc) is to fleece the fan public of more money than we already pay. And I'd almost wager, the players who use the larger percentage of sc are those of us who also subscribe, have subscribed, and may have subscribed since Everquest...

Yes, I understand the point in the United States is to have one day a year where people try and pull a 'fast one' over the head of someone else for a jolly.
BUT

5,000 sc for a cow animation which doesn't have any other difference from one to the "basic" cow animation (at 1,950 sc) but Pink textures...

That's just pisz aszed bull muffinz.

I am not 'just' having a wtf moment, I'm incensed. I'm the guy who was going to BUY one of these craptastic graphic spiffs for my significant other because it WOULD HAVE BEEN something she'd have a warm and fuzzy over for the rest of the YEARS we'd come into EQ2 and enjoy a bit of special time with one another.

WHAT it has come to mean to me is the absolute and total shock that Sony Online Entertainment marketing group thinks their paying public are a group of multi million dollar home owners who drive Rolls Royces, eat fish eggs for breakfast, lunch, and diner, drink bottled old grape juice for water, and have so much disposable income they're all about showing off to the other folk on the server they have no sense of enough-ness. (and, I sincerely apologize to anyone who really Did buy one of these "licenses" by painting them with this selfsame brush - but - pardon me for asking: "What were you THINKING?")

SOE: You'd best learn something from this, and do it quick - This is literally Nero fiddling while Rome burns, The French Court thinking they've got the system rocked right before the Revolution, or Muammar Gaddafi just before he realized - 'Yes, those beggars are looking at ME!'

I'll even toss one up to you: I AM one of those folks over 50 who DOES have some disposable income and HAS spent real coin - even in sc... Some times I have a duh-oh moment too, just like my hero Homer Simpson. Think what that might mean if there is more than one of me... just stop, and - think - about that a moment....
