I doubt anyone remembers, bit I was hacked and cleaned out back in December. While I wasn't playing then, I did come back a few weeks ago.

While I've been enjoying the baby Necro, I want to start playing my 79 Monk again. The problem is that in order for me to get my stuff back when I was hacked, I had to tell them exactly what was missing and how much plat I had. Since I hadn't been playing for awhile when I was hacked, I couldn't provide that info. So now, my Monk is naked and copperless.

I'm looking for somewhere that I can farm to get some decent gear or plat to buy enough gear to get back to questing. The gear doesn't have to be level appropriate as long as it's close enough to let me solo.

Unfortunately I've tried green mobs in Kylong Plains and it's risky. Are their any mid 60's solo instances? If their are any mid 60's level instances I could hit, would I be better off hitting them as a 79 or chronoing down?

I'd recommend doing the cloud mount quest series, that will get you a full set of 60s armor during the course of it. If you're completely stripped down that might be difficult without a bit of help however. If your harvesting is up to par you can also try farming some hides and such then see if a crafter will help you out with making armor/jewelry, or sell them for the cash to get some items off of broker.

I'd suggest you go harvesting to gather the rares you'll need for a mastercrafted set. Any rares you don't need, sell for cash. It might be a good time to do the Gathering Obsession quest series if you haven't already. You should pick up a lot of rares in the lower levels that will help fund you.

If you're finding Kylong Plains a little tough nekkid, try Ykesha - where the mobs are a little more manageable

Really? I always found KP easier than Ykesha myself.

Harvesting rares and shinies in certain areas might be your best bet, ofcourse, not easy to roam in areas where the mobs are green (ofcourse, you could FD your way through most areas, with the devastating fist, you can get far, but it's not the most easiest way). I'ld suggest the Kingdom Of Sky areas, Bonemire in particular. There won't be many others there, I'm just not sure what the prices for the rares on that tier and the shinies are, combine it with the cloud mount quest series indeed, there are several steps you should have no problem with, even with no gear. I think anyway.

Best of luck!

I've done the cloud mount and hat quests in KoS already, I did them before I got hacked (That was such a cool looking hat too).

I have been in KoS farming T6 TS mats though. I'm a mid 60's Alch and I've been doing TSs for money. Fortunately everything is grey so I just go whack a few things when I get bored, but it's just to break up the monotony of farming mats. Rares have been few and far between.

I did manage to get my house out of hock, sales board was empty :(

I'll probably burn through a few XP pots and get my Alch up to 70 then head back to Kylong to do some more farming and the occasional killing.
