Free time affects on budgetFollow

While I like the fact SOE is giving free subscription time due to the downtime I wonder if they concidered the effects on subscribers budgets in doing so. The free 30 days isn't an issue as it wont have any affect on billing date, however the 1 day per day the servers are down certainely could. I like many people nowadays am under a tight budget and while it wont affect the bottom line the date of my billing is planned. Changing my billing date by a currently undetermined amount of days may require me to cancell my subscription wait until the planned date, then resubscribe.

I would rather see them stick to a 30 day period even tho I realize this would have a greater affect on thier bottom line, however in the long run would probably benefit them more.

Just my 2 cents, let the bashing of my idea begin...

Or when you figure out what the new billing date is, you could call up customer service and have them pro-rate your subscription for a period of days that puts your billing date back where you want it.

And while I've never done this with SOE, I have done it with many other companies, both large & small and NEVER had one refuse or even pause long enough to ask why!

Seems to me like you are trying desperately to create an issue where none exists...

So, let me get this straight. You're spending is out of control to the point that you can't pay a bill when it comes, not early, but late? Are you serious? You realize this means that you will spend it if it is just sitting around? If this is the case, you need more help than SOE can provide.
