Comment on the Current Server Population/Activity?Follow

#1 Apr 06 2011 at 10:51 AM Rating: Decent
I am a new player, trying to find an active and populated server for the Eastern Standard Time zone. I will be playing throughout the day, but almost always during prime times of EST (7-11 PM). I am looking for a standard PvE server, but wouldn't mind a roleplay server if roleplay wasn't required. I should probably note that I'm looking for standard servers, not extended or other such microtransactionary.

Could some of you please comment on which servers are the most populated, and perhaps in some order of population, and perhaps in relation to the EST time zone if it is applicable?

Thank you greatly.

Most of the servers are now fairly balanced in population. The somewhat more populated ones are Crushbone and Antonia Bayle, both of which have a roleplay population (not enforced!). I would suggest creating a character during your primetime for playing and looking over the server list to see which ones may be populated enough for what you're wanting. :)

If it helps any, I'm also in eastern time zone and Everfrost is fairly hopping most of the times I'm online. Early mornings are usually the quietest there, afternoons and evenings are much better.

The amount of population is incorrect for the merged Nektulos into Guk as it still shows the same population before the merge. Before the merge they were very close in population. You would need to double the amount it shows for Guk server. I'm sure this is not the only merged servers that are not updated.

I think the population numbers shown on that page (I assume you're referring to the one at everquest2.com) is inaccurate anyways. My guess is that (a) it hasn't been updated for a while and (b) it's total number of accounts that have ever had a char on that server.

Either way, checking to see which server has the best population during your peak play times is the best method imo!
