How to get to Neriak from the Darklight Woods? :: World of Warcraft

I was wondering how to get to Neriak and also how to buy a house, I hear you can buy houses, how much do they cost? Is there anything I need to do as a prerequisite?

If you started in DLW, follow the path and take the right branch when you get there. If you follow the quest series you'll be prompted that way.

When you go to Neriak your starter Inn room is free with 5s a week upkeep. There's LOTS of housing. LOTS http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Housing_%28EQ2%29

Thanks a lot, Do you need to go back to the inn every week to pay the upkeep? And around what level are the quests that lead you to the city, right now I am level 8.

Can't remember the level, might be closer to level 10 or 11 before you get a quest that sends you to the city.

Rent is due every 7 days but you can pay up your rent in advance. I forget how many weeks, but it's a pretty good amount. I usually try to keep my houses paid up for 3-4 weeks.

You don't have to go back. And if you forget to pay there's no penalty, just no one can get inside until you do.

Up to 3 months (84 days) in advance can be paid. And like Calthine said, there's no penalty it rent lapses for a while. :)
