I asked on the main forums and only one person responded seeming to think my game is glitched. Note I am still on the free trial. Note I did level to 10 and the second I dinged in at ten I set the slider to 100. So why am I still levling up xp wise?

Hmmm, I've honestly never heard of that happening before. I'd suggest submitting a ticket to customer support to see if they can look into it. It's possible that it was something to do with the trial, but honestly I'm not sure.

Are you getting experience from quests that are lower than level 10? It's not just your level that has to be 10, quests have to be level 10 or above in order to give AA. So if they're lower, maybe they can only give adventure experience rather than AA no matter what your slider is set at.

I'm not sure if this is the case, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Figured it out *sigh*. If i have the bar set to 100 AA then the pnt bar reflects only how much AA i am gaining. If I push it back to 0 then the first time I hit a mob it resets to how much xp i am gaining. Why they couldn't just show me both AA and xp at the same time idk. Real confusing. The tip off was even tho the numbers were rising all the equipment I was gaining from quests would con red. La la la.

Ah yes, I completely forgot about that. There are some custom UI exp bars on eq2interface.com that will display all three bars (adventuring, AA and tradeskill) at the same time. I use the one from DrumsUI, it's pretty nice to keep track of everything easily that way (and less confusing!).

At some point you'll have to gain some levels. Because no matter how many AA you have, if you stay level 10 or 11 forever, you're gonna get flattened some time, lol. Also, you'll get to a point where all your quest rewards will be too high for you and you won't be able to use them.

Yes, your experience bar shows all 3 types of experience - adventure, tradeskill and AA. Adv. is yellow, TS is purple and AA is green. Right click it and you will get the option to show a specific type of experience and you can lock the bar so that it doesn't flip when you change the type of experience you're getting.
