My husband is between jobs right now, so I'm cutting back on unnecessary stuff. EQ2 is one of those things. Hopefully it won't be long, he's got a pretty good prospect and he'll find out this week if he gets the job or not. But in the meantime, my account runs out on the 23rd of this month.

And speaking of server merges, I got on Harle last night and it occurred to me that I won't need 2 assassins on the same server. So Harle is no more *tear*. Instead, Sslytha, mighty iksar necro has been born in her place!

In all honestly (and this is much like what I told Cyl the other day), I don't see myself leaving the game any time soon.
For one, I buy the year subs. Granted I only save a few bucks but it's easier to budget one large payment once a year than smaller payments throughout the year.
Secondly, I'm tired of following my friend from game to game. She quit EQ1 when we played, stuck me there for awhile while she was off in Vanguard and I eventually went to LOTRO. Then she was on EQ2 and I fell in love with the fairies (haha gay jokes). Now she went back to EQ1 and I really don't see that game holding my interest again, especially as a casual player. Yes even though I play for many hours everyday I consider myself casual since I don't raid too often, and half the time I sit around doing meaningless things.
There are other smaller reasons I don't see myself leaving as well..1-9 chat is not one of them :)
