I've been leveling up my cook and there is something about T9 that is really starting to tick me off!
As you may or may not know, T9 animal dens don't yield meat - only pelts. You still need to fish but the only way to obtain meats for some recipes is to slaughter beasties.
Now let me state right here, right now that I have no qualms with butchering countless numbers of applicable critters and then carrying home the steaks! My complaint is this;
Since the meat is much harder to come by than it would be if it were harvested from nodes, why do the recipes call for four or even five pieces of a given meat to make one or two portions of that recipe? Some of these meats (like roper) are outrageously expensive on the broker and others (like gazer, fearstalker & kobold) are merely 'very pricey'. In any case, all are tough to find and tougher to buy!
Bottom line is these components are so costly that you are not likely to be able to make your money back if you price them on the broker based on what the meat will cost to replace.
All I'm saying is that because of the rarity and value, it would be nice if the per recipe requirements were more conducive to the common worth of the final product...
Any thoughts?
