Sorry for all the latest threads asking so many questions, but my guild doesn't seem to always have the answer, and 1-9, well I might as well as 4Chan.

Is there a way to browse an item for Appearance slots, and find one that I like without having to go through hundreds of pages in the broker?

What I mean is, on my ShadowKnight, I have my MC 72 items, and I want to find a super awesome gigantic looking weapon to complete my e-look for him. Is there a website I can go to that shows me these items or something I can do in game?

If this doesn't make sense, let me know and I can try to re-word it.

edit: Also, does that mean with GU57, I can now have my Warden dressed in plate armor? Or my Coercer in something other than cloth?

Ok... hmm.

1. I think you can browse for "appearance only" items (could be wrong), but there are so many items that are not appearance only that you can use there. I'd suggest instead, filter your search to 10 level spans at a time, and even more by common, treasured, mastercrafted, etc and check out the various appearances. Hopefully you'll find one you like. :)

2. I believe the GU57 appearance change only allows for lee-way with weapons, but maybe I missed something there. However, there are several appearance only sets (like the sootfoot magma or nightmarish ceremonial) that states that they're "cloth" but they actually have a plate appearance.

edit: Another thing worth trying in a broker search is for "ornate" items. Seems like some things that were intended for only appearances but weren't marked as appearance-only usually have the ornate tag on them.

I can't answer the first part, but can add to the second:

No, a coercer cannot start wearing a '2h sword of cool' for appearance. The recent change did only made so that you can use different types of weapons, that are STILL usable by your class. If you fight with a 1h and a secondary, you can use a 2h staff as appearance (before you couldn't), or vice versa. So the item must still be initially usable by your class.

The same goes with armor. If your class can wear it initially then you can use it for appearance. It's limited but they may change it in the future.
