Is there any way to acquire station cash without exchanging real world cash for it? Maybe a quest or something? I'd be interested in buying some of the things they offer but as soon as I do a mental conversion of dollars to station cash my interest wanes!

Hopefully they take a page from DDO's book and add something like that, even if its an almost trivial amount. I'm not sure if that's the format they want to go with their free server though.
Nope, atm the only way is cold, hard cash. What you can do is go buy some of the retail cards and hoard them for a double SC weekend.

I see rude people.
They gave us some SC with the last expansion and also for having X amount of followers on Facebook. But that's the only "free" SC that I know of.
People that do a one year subscription also get 500SC (a one-time thing only whenever billed). Guess that's not very free, though.

Yeah, I believe you get 500 SC for the last expansion? There was some for the facebook/twitter pages too, they might later on do new stuff but it's unlikely with SOE's focus on SC and the FTP nonsense they started.
