ello!

my wife and i had been taking a break from mmo's for a while, and have decided to try eq2 again,
the last time we played we made it to 53 with a templar and guardian which was fun, but really really slow it seemed.

we was just wondering is there a faster combo out there to level

we are also looking to raid after weve put some time in getting equipment and such, we usually play the role of tank/healer but are comfortable doing anything really.

i was thinking maybe a berserker/fury combo, just lookin for a couple classes that are fun and faster than temp/guard

thanks! =-)

My husband and I duo Troub/Templar. It's like, his heals perfectly match my lack of DPS. The buffs seem complimentary too.

Berserker/fury sounds like fun. I've been thinking necro/monk might be good too - you can both self-heal a bit, and just FD if things go bad (and if the monk's FD fails, the necro can rez him).

Zerker/druid (either flavor) is a great combination. The druid heals always include a HoT component so if the healer casts just a little "late" it will give the zerker bonus time to kick in (he gets a dmg bonus for being hurt) and the HoT will keep him standing.

Monk/druid (either flavor) is also a really potent duo. The monk can dish out plenty of DPS but also has great avoidance. Meanwhile, the druid can keep him healed and also dish out a fair amount of DPS in the bargain!

You'll notice that whatever combo you choose, levelling will be a *lot* quicker in the lower levels since SOE tweaked the progression curve a few months ago. If you find you're out-levelling stuff too quickly, you can apply the brakes a bit by adjusting the slider on your AA window

They're both fun. As I understand it, zerkers are a little more desirable in end-game, but that may be due to the vast number of SKs running around out there.

We also did a sk/defiler combo, seems to work out quite well.
