When Station Cash came out I was a Grinch about it. I thought for sure that I'd never even think twice about it. It finally caught my attention when I saw people mentioning that if you purchase a card from a retailer that you get double points this weekend. I finally decided to go ahead and buy a card to change my race.

I went to Target, Walmart, Gamestop and CVS on my way home from the park today. A couple hours later I needed to get some pop before tomorrow and I stopped in 711 for it along with one last chance on a game card. None of them had any! The people at Walmart had no idea what EverQuest 2 was and the rest just didn't carry any.

I'm a little sad. I live in a western suburb of Chicago right now and I thought we had everything!

Did I miss a place? Where else are they sold at? At this point I give up and will keep my race as I don't want to spend the money on full price from ordering during gameplay. Just curious where everyone else goes.

People at Wal-Mart are stupid. This is not an opinion but a true fact based on my first few years of playing EQ2 and eagerly going to them on expansion day. Anyway, look for FreeRealms cards, the cash goes to your station account regardless of what game is printed on the card (I've never personally seen an EQ2 cash card anyway, but I have seen the FR ones at our local Wally World).

Yup, it's the Free Realms cards. Smiley: nod You should be able to get them at Speedway, too.

The pictures over at the FR site are exactly what they should look like.

edit: By the way, Station Cash is universally used between EQ, EQ2 and FR, which is why it's okay to get the FR cards! Smiley: grin

You linked the French Free Realms site and Google Chrome offered to translate it for me. Too cool, I didn't know it did that.

Back on topic - Sony should make a more generic looking SC card, or at least put all the games it's for on the card somewhere. This is not the first time I've heard of someone that was confused about the cards.

That is cool.. but especially interesting that it's not in French for me! Smiley: wink

I agree, the cards should be more generic, or stated on there somewhere that it's an universal SOE wallet.
