Yes to raid content and tier armor. The dungeons are different than WoW instances - anyone can come in to most of them and share the space with you (which can be good, if you're struggling through, or bad, if you're both going after named mobs).

Yes to tons of content, and an appearance tab lets you personalize your look somewhat. There are also items in game that let you add a particle effect, if you want.

Lots and lots of heritage quests that you can do for status (a meta-currency), rewards, and gold. Some are soloable, some require a group, most are mixed - you can solo everything until the last fight or two.

You can also mentor down to do gray quests for status and rewards. If the rewards are useless to you, you can sometimes sell them or transmute (think disenchant) for attunement mats.

As to graphics, I think they're a bit less cartoonish than WoW, but the appearance is really a matter of personal taste. I like both, so I'll let others speak to that.

My friend, let me first say this: Punctuation is your friend.

Now, that said, EQ2 is, IMHO much better than WoW.

Yes, there is quite a bit of end-game raid content, as well as an even larger amount along the way to end-game.

As far as class-specific end-game armor, the answer is: Sort of. lol. Very little of the armor is class-specific. Usually 2 or more classes can wear it. There are the low-level armor quests which are class specific, and a new quest line in the Kingdom of Sky which gives class specific armor, but neither of these are end-game.

As far as weapons, each class gets their epic, which is very different for each class. Plan on raiding for them, though. These are no longer end-game, however. You must be level 80 to get them, and end-game is now 90. There is supposed to be better weapons out there now. I haven't seen anything even approaching my epic yet, however.

Did I miss anything?

If you're interested in how the armour looks, check the EQ2 fashion page on EQTraders, which has images of a lot of the player-crafted and faction-based armour.

Edit: As regards weapons, this is not WOW - your sword will not be three times a big as you are :D

Edit #2: Ooh! 300th post!
