Where or how does one acquire the new 'flying disc' mount from SF?
I have one.
Be in a guild that's level 90 and go buy it from a horse merchant.

The vendor just next to the broker in the crafting area in Paineel sells them for about 96 plat or so

Actually the ones in Paineel are about 42plat, 55% speed, and give 150 hp/mp. They also require very little faction to get.
Or as others said there is one for a guild that is level 90, but I dont recall the stats.

Thanks all - stats on the guild one are a moot point Dya as I am guildless...................
Have you done the Lavastorm 70+ series? That carpet is probably the best mount for a solo player imo. 55% speed, 90 regen (Hp/Mp) out of combat. I believe its only 4plat once you have max faction.

No I haven't gone back to Lavastorm since the re-do but it is on my radar (along with a trip to the newly redone KoS material and the cloud mount quest series) So far I've just been concentrating on getting my main back to the level cap!
There is a new tinkered one, also... Not sure if it is usable without tinkering skill though... I will have to check when I get home from work. It is the same speed as the Rime faction Icemare. (65%?) No stats though.
That one is tinker usable only.

The guild level 90 disk mounts are getting upgraded in next GU, as the stats are rather bleh right now. Just keep that in mine when you are looking at them.
There are actually three or four of the disk/discs. http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Category%3APlayer_Mounts
