Returning to Norrath....What Servers? :: World of Warcraft

Hello this is one of my first post in a long time, that is if I have posted on here before. I am coming back to Norrath which is a exciting and fun thing for me. The only question I have is what is a good server to start on for someone who has been out of the game for awhile? I do not mind starting over and creating new characters. I would just like to be on a server that has a good amount of people.

From what I hear, the RP servers are very highly populated. So is the Bazaar (if you have have real life money and want to get ahead in the game). The best advice though is try out a few different ones and see what the population is like during your usual play hours to get a good feel of the population. Do keep in mind that the new character zones may not be that active even on high population servers, so you may have to rely on the amount of people in the world chat, or in city zones.

I'll shortcut that for you. Roll a new toon during what will be your most normal playtime. When you get to server select, chose the server with the highest population that suits you best. Watch out for Bazzar (RMT) and PvP servers, and be aware that RP servers are hardly militant about it, they're "role play preferred".

Thank you guys for the response and the help. So I am now on the RP server, which had a heavy load of people when I joined the server. Now I am just trying to find a guild to join, so I can have some people to group with. Since now I do have some free time because of Christmas break from school.
