Survived another weekend! I didn't play much this weekend. After getting the rest of the family through the flu and seasonal bug, I had a touch of it myself.

How about y'all?

I'm sick also. And on my birthday, no less. Harrumph.

I played a little earlier, but I think I'm gonna crash on the couch now while watching Cash Cab.

Aw, that's a lousy birthday present! Perhaps tomorrow will make up for it.

I'm getting my flu jab tomorrow. I also have to sit through a 10 minute video about flu prevention at work - nice.

I have actually been playing, enjoying Jarsath. Still making steady progress towards level cap.

I had nothing special going on last weekend but tomorrow I'm going on a trip to New Orleans until this coming Monday. I'm excited but I'm not looking forward to the long train ride. I do get my own room, and I'll be leaving at 9:55PM... but I have never brought Takeo on a train longer than 4 hours. This ride is 18 hours. The plane ticket was only 5 hours with a switch over AND $200 cheaper... I just don't get why I have to take the train. Smiley: disappointed

18 Long hours, most sleeping I hope, with a 7 month old baby boy.. AS OF TODAY! Wish me luck.

I fell off the wagon, hard.

I reactivated my second Station account to dual box in EQ2. Smiley: laugh

So far my plan is to box a shadowknight/dirge combo. I'm open to any other suggestions, though. (I was thinking monk/dirge might be more fun, for example.)

My favorite duo ever was monk/warden

The monk dished out plenty of DPS, the warden always kept him standing and was able to toss out some hefty DoTs & nukes in the bargain.

I used to do something similar in EQ.

I already have a dirge going, and she's so fun. I just need a good partner for her, and thought maybe a monk would be good since she could heal herself a little.

Must think about this some more.

I dusted off my 49 berserker, I want to get him to 80 asap so I can do shard runs with him too. Ofcourse, since I neglected doing any harvesting with him, I have to spend several days to get my mining up again so I can try and harvest all the rares I need for my plate armour. Wee, such fun!

Not much else lately, I'm preparing to move this weekend, so it's a couple of hectic days ahead and hopefully I get back online on Monday. If all goes well anyway.

Get thee to the Isle of Mara & do the Gathering Obsession series. The final reward Cloak of the Harvester is not bad either. The main tricky bit is when you have to go to KoS, as you will need to fight your way to those harvesting nodes. Pretty much every other tier is achievable without combat.

I've yet to finish those quests with my main, but I'm almost there!

It's an excellent way to get your harvesting skills up, especially much-neglected fishing.

Funnily enough, T6/T7 rare ore is way more expensive than incarnadine ('cos everyone wants the loam!). You'll be doing the Sinking Sands ore circuit soon then...
