Old World monsters missing from databaseFollow

Ahoy!

I was just pottering around Stormhold, and I noticed quite a few of the beasties don't seem to exist in Zam's database, which seems a bit weird, given that they most certainly exist in Everquest 2's database!

Anyhow, there doesn't seem to be an obvious place to tell anyone, so I figured I'd just jot their names down here.

a restless stormlord (Down in The Tomb of Valor)

a sand storm
a water storm
a fire storm (Oddly, the ice storm did make it into your database)
Magnimaclus
an oozing fungus
a caveroot horror (I didn't see him on this trip, but he's needed for "These Boot's were made for walking" heritage quest, so he's kind of important.)

Also, your entry for the Tomb of Valor (http://eq2.zam.com/db/zone.html?eq2zone=43BA03AF7427F36991470A15A935C47A#Mobs) only lists mobs that are actually found in the Buccaneer's Rest instance under the lighthouse in Antonica. Your entry for Buccaneer's Rest is empty. A shame, as it's a nice little low level instance.

I hope that's useful to someone. If there is somewhere else I ought to be sending this info, please let me know.

We're aware of the missing mob issues. Our devs are working on it, and I hope that we'll see improvement soon! When we do, I'll post so everyone can help us see if there's any more outstanding issues.

What you can do in the meantime is make wiki pages for the missing mobs, which will hook automagically to the database when it's available.

#1 Search carefully for the mob. Use the global search box (/points to the field in the upper right of the screen) and be sure to check the wiki tab. If the mob is definitely fer sure missing...
#2 Make a new wiki page for the mob (free ZAM account required). You can do this by creating a new URL in your browser's address bar. The URL will be: http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/eq2 mob:MOB NAME GOES HERE. That's http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/eq2 mob: followed immediately by the mob name. Be sure the name is EXACTLY as in game.
#3 click "edit" at the top of the brand-new wiki panel. If you don't put something in the wiki panel, the page won't be saved.
#4 Enter any info you think is important. If you know wiki markup, great; if you don't, just type and don't worry about it. Location, zone, and level are always good.
#5 Save!!!
#6 if you want to add a picture, after you save click the "media" link on the top of the wiki panel, then click "add image". The first picture uploaded will automatically display. Please keep the pic at 500x500 pixels or smaller. You can resize from the image upload.

This will give us a page on the mob, and when the database is updated the wiki panel will attach itself to the database entry for all the world to see!

Here's an example. Caveroot horror, I knew he was int here somewhere. IF you use the site-wide search, you'll see it has a wiki entry. Which, frankly, sucks :) http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/EQ2_Mob%3AA_Caveroot_Horror
