Happy Independence Day ZAM! 7/4/2009Follow

Hope everyone is out enjoying bbq, friends, family and beer today and not strapped to their computers like me! ;)

Actually, enjoyed the bonus experience weekend last night.. once Rothgar fixed it that is. :) I rolled a new ratonga fury on AB earlier this week and worked on betraying her. I've got to say.. betraying Evil to Good is A LOT harder than vice versa. On Venekor, I betrayed both ways on one character so I could have a Ratonga archer and it took me an hour at tops including the faction grinding. But, the Qeynos betrayal was nothing but a test of patience and nerves. Took me no less than 8 hours and most of that was running. :P

Other than that, I've been plugging away slowly at reformatting the L&L quests on EQ2 ZAM while I recuperated from fan faire. Got a couple stitches in my ankle cause my golf shoes were rubbing on it worse than I thought. And, I've been hitting the range every chance I get to practice and fix my game. Much progress already. I've been hitting 75 balls off the 18 hole. 25 with the driver and 50 with my irons. I'm up to about 60% consistency now. Not perfect, not even close. But, its much better than the 10% consistency I had a week ago in Vegas. And, that's being generous. By September I hope to get up to an 80% consistency on the course and 90% on the range.

I was too lazy to get propane for the grill yesterday so we're baking chicken for the 4th this year. Watched a couple of movies including a really good one called "10 Items or Less". I highly recommend it! Morgan Freeman plays himself who helps a check out girl from a grocery store get ready for an interview. Excellent movie and one of the best I've seen in quite some time.

So, what are your plans for the holiday weekend?!

Might go to the block party tonight, since I'm out of crafting vitality and too cheap to buy one of the market place potions.

Mum and I have spent the day making food. Made a few dozen deviled eggs and also a few dozen muffins for our family reunion tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great 4th...

I'll be heading for the annual family BBQ in a while... all the usual suspects...

Burgers & Kielbasa,
Mom's home made potato salad
corn-on-the-cob
fresh guacamole & chips
deviled eggs
ice cold watermelon

I'm sure I missed something... but in any case, it's gonna be a good time!!!

We did hotdogs Wednesday night, steaks last night, so today I grabbed some fried chicken and stuff at the store and we headed to Grandpa's for a picnic. The boys romped, I weeded, thinned and maintained the garden, and hubby washed our cars. Very laid back, very nice.

I knew there was a reason you Alaskan's enjoyed it up there so much! ;)

I worked my alt out a little bit on AB today and updated a couple L&L wikis.. and enjoyed the last day of the weekend. Tomorrow morning I hit the range again and knock the **** out of 75 more balls then back to work. :)
