I have a question about this version of the game. Does it include the original EQ2?

Cut and paste directly from the STEAM site:
Quote:
This all-in-one compilation pack includes the new expansion pack, plus the entire award winning content from four previously released expansion packs and three adventure packs.

It ALWAYS helps if you read the directions...

Thanks. I saw that but it didn't say that it included the original Eq2 release so I was only wondering :).

Well.. I can certainly understand where it might be confusing for somebody who has never played before. But, for somebody who has, it might make it a little difficult to get to the new lands if you can't access the old lands. ;)

You also had to do some reading. My roommate didnt think you got the whole game because you could still find expansions on steam that cost more than their deal of the weekend. But after some careful reading and well seeing the orange print it was pretty obvious =)

I'm glad you guys posted this. I didn't have TSO yet and getting it for 10 bucks was great.

Agreed! It was a brilliant marketing idea since many people were just holding out for the next expansion.. especially those who had just started playing and didn't have access to the new content yet. Now, they can get it for 1/4 the retail cost and be a step ahead of the game.

Much better idea than say.. two people morphing in to an Orc and Dark Elf in a convenience store and fighting over a bottle of Gatorade. XD

Yeah, husband-guy and I were talking about that, saying that even though WoW had a ton of players, there are still even more people saying "WTF?" after seeing that commercial.
