I am totally new to the game, but will be duoing with a conjurer friend of mine.

What would be the best choice for this duo, a Defiler or a Mystic? And do Shamman buffs/wards benefit the mage pets as well, or are they only for party members?

Which flavor of healer is really up to you.

Healer spells do heal the pet, and mages love it since it generates no mage-heal-agro. :)
